So, in case it wasn’t obvious, July was a bit of a busy month for me. In between finishing up drafting TOG Book 3 (which is now off to my editor! Yay!), I went on vacation to Costa Rica for a while (heaven on earth). But now I’m BACK, and it’s August, which means…CROWN OF MIDNIGHT is just a few weeks away! Hooray!!!

I am so, so pumped for this book to release (August 15th in the UK, the 20th in Australia/New Zealand, and the 27th in the US), and there is SO MUCH exciting stuff happening right now for it…

First, my US tour schedule is now available! The amazingly talented Elena made a graphic for the tour with all my stops/dates. It would be AWESOME to see US readers at these events! Yay!
US Tour

Speaking of tours… We’ve announced another stop for my UK tour this October! I’ll be signing at Easons in IRELAND (….holy crap, right?!) on Thursday, October 3rd at 6 PM! Details below!

Easons Event

If you can’t make it to a US or UK tour stop (and even if you can), there is an AWESOME pre-order campaign for CROWN OF MIDNIGHT right now! The first 5,000 people to send in their pre-order receipt to Bloomsbury will receive a signed CROWN OF MIDNIGHT poster from yours truly! Eeee! For where to order, click here.

PreOrder

On top of that, the gang at Bloomsbury created an AWESOME TOG story generator, where YOU can become part of the series! There are four scenes (three from TOG, one from CROWN OF MIDNIGHT), and it is SO FUN to play around with! Check it out!
Story Generator

TAATPAND, in case you haven’t seen it… The Throne of Glass ambassadors are sharing an exclusive TOG short story—THE ASSASSIN AND THE PRINCESS—on their blogs this week! (Despite the graphic, it’s not a novella. It’s a short story/scene that takes place in between TOG and COM.) You can read Part 1 here, Part 2 here, and Part 3 here. Be sure to follow the TOG facebook page for info about where to find the rest of the story!

Annnnd I think that’s it for TOG news.

But in OTHER news…

Be sure to check back here later this week, because Susan Dennard and I have something super-awesome/exciting to share with you all…

yay I'm so glad you're back!! augh I had plans to go see you on the tour for COM but it cuts too close to when I'll be out of the country. sobs! it would have been SO LOVELY to see you again. I'm glad you had a wonderful time in Costa Rica though.

and oops, I definitely modelled that graphic after the novellas so that's probably why it's misleading haha. love the scene! it's always exciting to read more from you. August is going to be so busy but I'm definitely doing a personal TOG re-readathon!

AND HOORAY NEWS FROM YOU AND SUSAN. I'm so excited!! I hope it's your self-insert Pacific Rim (which btw was SO AMAZING) fic.

Ahhhhh, I'm so glad you're back! I hope you had an amazing vacation in Costa Rica. Def well deserved. But I'm still glad you're back!

I just got back from New Orleans, seeing my family and all. Unfortunately that means I'm dirt poor right now, and getting to HOUSTON (OMG!) will be... hard. Just texted my friend though, to see if I can possibly stay with her! I'm toooo excited. She'll probably be in Austin then, BUT WHATEVER I'M EXCITED.

And if that's not exciting enough, I discovered something on goodreads about the novellas... not sure if that's supposed to be top secret or something... but I then went to amazon to preorder, to no avail.

I think I'll just sit here and bounce in my chair for a while. eeeee book 3 and short story and COM arriving on my doorstep in a few short weeks and I already sent my preorder receipt in! I'll be overly happy today. :D

So glad to see you back! <3

GAH! It's so good to see a new post! I can't wait to hear all about the UK tour. It's going to be such a blast. Take tons of pictures! I can't see the graphic of the US tour on my phone but I'll check it as soon as I'm home tonight after work! (Hopefully sometime next year Husband will have a job with an airline and I can just hop on a plane to one of your events! ;p)

I just finished re-reading your novellas and cried through all of them. And the whole time I've been carting around ToG. I'm pretty sure half of my dreams this week have taken place inside Erilea. :p I cannot wait for CoM. I've even made sure to request the night off from work because I know I won't be able to focus on anything else!!

Can't wait to hunt down that extra scene! You know how much I love extra scenes!

Super curious about news from you and Sooz! Another workshop??? :D

Have a wonderful day! <3

I'm so happy that you're posted again! I'm so happy that you've drafted book three, and that you had a wonderful time in Costa Rica and that "Crown of Midnight" will be released soon ^_^

I also adore the "Assassin and the Princess" scene that is being posted around the blog-o-sphere. I can't wait to find out how it ends ^_^

I'm also super stoked for your announcement with Susan! I don't have a clue as to what it might be...

Tour and future announcements? yay!
I'm lad I met you this spring in the YAGB tour because you won't be close enough in this tour BUT you will be visiting MN which I'm very excited about! My BFF (who read QoG independently from me when we were in hs) should have a chance to make it.

Also very excited about you and Sooz having news later this week, can't wait to hear what that's about.

I will so be at one of those NC stops (prolly Flyleaf, cuz I love their bookstore). Plus, it'd be easier on me driving-wise, being in the middle of the day. I can be back at a reasonable hour. Can't wait to meet you (especially since we missed each other at that Author/Blogger party last year)!!

So excited, Sarah! I will definitely be there for the Menlo Park book signing. =) Can't wait!

I had a question though, I noticed you're going from La Verne, to Menlo Park, to Texas in just 3 days! Won't you be tired?

I am still crying buckets of tears over the fact that I won't get to see you on tour. I'm sure it'll be fabulous! I still can't wait to have my final copy of Crown of Midnight in my hands to re-read some choice scenes ;)
